Some management functions are as follows:1. Planning (planning), is an activity associated with the time to reach the destination. A good plan should be guided by the 5 W's and 1 H, namely:a. What, that is to say what action should be doneb. Why, that is why it must be donec. Where, that is where the action is to be doned. When, that is when actions should be takene. Who, that is who is going to take actionf. How, that is how to implement such measures.
2. Organizing (organizing), is a set of activities related to human or an employee or employees.The organizational structureIn the preparation of the organizational structure known some kind of relationship, namely:a. The organizational structure of the line. Organizational structure is the simplest and the oldest. In the organizational structure of the flow lines are the duties and responsibilities clearly visible in the vertical direction, that authority flows from top to bottom, while the responsibility from the bottom to the top.b. Functional organizational structure or its staff. Functional organization or staff begins introduced by FW Taylor, where a handful of leaders have no clear subordinates, because every employer authorized to give command to any subordinates, all has to do with the superior function.c. Line and staff organizational structure. In the form of a line and staff organization, there are one or several individuals. Staff are people who are experts in a particular field, whose job gives advice and suggestions to the leaders in its field in the organization.
3. Actuating (mobilization), is to put all members of the group to work consciously to achieve a goal that has been established in accordance with the planning and organization of the pattern. Or in other words actuating means activities relating to motivate or encourage the employee or employees.
4. Controlling (supervision), is the process of determining what will be achieved, what is being done, to assess the implementation and where necessary take corrective action so that the implementation can be run according to plan, which is in accordance with the standard of work. Or in other words is an activity monitoring related to control or supervise any work and perform corrective action.
